Pastor's Note

Dear Visitor.

Greetings to you in Jesus' most precious name.

It is indeed a joy to welcome you to the website of the Tamil Methodist Church at Short Street, Singapore which is under the Emmanuel Tamil Annual Conference (ETAC) of the Methodist Church in Singapore.

Among the Tamil Methodist Churches this is the oldest and it is situated very centrally at 8.Short Street with 128 years of history. If you happen to be here in Singapore and looking for a place to worship, we cordially invite you to come and worship with us. We have our English and Tamil services in the morning. We also have a Tamil service in the evening. We are a close knit community and we are involved in various programs and activities to reach-out to people. I am sure you will enjoy your time with us. Looking forward for your visit.

I want to pray for you in the words of Paul for the believers in Ephesus, "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3: 14-21)

Wishing you God's best for you with prayers.

Rev. Jeyapaul Sitther.
