Worship & Music

The worship ministry entails serving during the 3 weekly Sunday services as musicians, choir, sound crew, ushers, and other service stewards. The ministry is always on the lookout for those willing and able to enhance the worship services so as to provide a conducive environment for all worshippers to direct their attention to Him alone.

Social Concerns

Our Tamil Methodist Church social concerns ministry is a group of Christians works together with other ministries that manages and drives, as well as participates regularly under the auspices of the Methodist Welfare Services and join other churches as partners to share God's love by reaching out to help the needy and disadvantaged and providing opportunities for our church members to be volunteers to serve with love and commitment in the events, programs organised by the social concern committee to the needs of individual families, children and the community to sacrifice self for the good of the whole.

Jesus said in the book of Matthew,
Then the King will say to those at his right hand, “Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. The righteous will answer him, “Lord when did we see you hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?” And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me. -- Matthew 25:34-40 (RSV)
